Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to ALL OF YOU again, as joe_x just passed 2,500 subscribers and 50,000 visitors. I honestly had no clue this would get to be such a huge Xanga phenomenon!
I also want to thank the helpful people who have helped me PRE-READ my comics, to make sure they’re funny…or, at least, kinda funny to some people
. Finally, I’d like to thank everyone who has made comics on Xanga after seeing joe_x…no matter what your attitude is about joe_x, you’re still creating funny stuff to put on Xanga, and that deserves a lot of thanks.
And now the bad news: right now, I’m on a college tour through Southern California, and I might not be able to draw joe_x as often as I’d like to for the next few days. Also, I’m going to be a high school senior starting in September, so between homework and college applications I might have a few other things on my mind. I’ll try to keep it up to a comic every other day, but I can’t make any promises.
Thanks for making joe_x a lot of fun. I love it, and I’ll keep it going as long as I can.

And btw, get someone to PUBLISH Joe Comics as a book, and you’ll be able to get into any college you want — the numbers of high-school students who have published anything is miniscule. I would seriously start talking to people. You could make some pretty good $$ and a name for yourself before even getting to college. Take a chance. Lates. Field

good luck on college apps! it can eat up to a month or more depending on how many you app to! but it’s all good, after that… everything should go smoothly! oh yeah and don’t forget tours, they really help you make your choices and set priorities ahead of time. once again, good luck!

With so many subscribers and visitors I doubt you read all your props. But here goes anyway; I think the comic is pretty cool, often it’s rather funny. Don’t try to write one every day or even every other day. I think you should go for once a week. or maybe twice a week. The ink you use to write your stories, like all other things, has it’s limits. Don’t dry your pen so soon.
